Renner Reservoir

Renner Reservoir is a man-made reservoir located in Carbon County, Wyoming, United States. The reservoir was created in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps as a water storage facility for irrigation and livestock water. The reservoir has a surface area of roughly 280 acres and is located at an elevation of 7,120 feet above sea level. Renner Reservoir is a popular destination for fishing, boating, and camping, and is home to a variety of fish species, including rainbow trout, brown trout, and lake trout. The reservoir is surrounded by the beautiful landscape of the Medicine Bow National Forest, which offers plenty of opportunities for hiking, biking, and wildlife viewing.
